do any of you's know if there are any mackeral around seahouses-bamburgh thinking of taking a trip up that way with kids being off school.

dont think they will be any showing up there yet especially with these strong northlys we have had

the water will be too coloured for a while.

take the kids on the tyne and have fun with coalies and flounders

I managed to grab a word with some lads just getting off a charter out of Seahouses last Saturday. No mackeral to be had, but they bagged up on small codling about 1 mile offshore, using daylights. The odd decent sized pollack showed up as well.

Was at Berwick last week and was told that the kids were catching Mackerel off the North pier.
