I know this is gonna be a very popular subject over the next few months.
Has anyone heard of any early smut's coming off Selsey at all.
I had a few this time last year but the water temp was about 15 deg and it's been about 12 ish recently, i wouldn't mind trying for a few before the weed turns up.
There's a good tide on saturday (22:21 4.3) which i think i might give ago.

It's funny, everyone has been saying how much WARMAER the water is this year! Fish migrate due to daylight hours more than water temperature. Remember, it is only April...the prime months for hounds are end of May, June and July.

Hi mate,

Dingbat has got a caravan down there and he was fishing on Tuesday i think. Wasn't quite watching his rod when it headed off down the beach, he thinks it was a smoothie but lost it on a groyne.
I am fishing there on Saturday
