Hi

Ive had the rod for a couple months now but only used it a few times however I've noticed that when I try to tighten the reel seat in a position I like (its a sliding reel seat) I can tighten it to a certain point then if I keep turning it comes loose again? Its a right pain during casting because the reel keeps turning and isn't in line with the rod. Anyone else had this problem

Yes I have seen this before and as already said pop some insulating tape under the position you want so you will not need to tighten them up so much and should stay in place. In all honesty, I think sliding seats are rubbish and in EVERY case would glue the seat in position once you are sure it is in the right spot for you or take the bugger off and get a Fuji seat.
