is this the 4 or 5 peice rod?
if so i,ve just given mine away. they are light but floppy. they will get you fishing for little money though an handy in a suitcase.

I think I'll give it a try. I normally go spinning for bass with 1oz weights. do i take the 9' 10-40g or 15-60g casting weight?

while the 9ft says up to 40 gram you will find it soft and i snapped one casting a popper.
i.d go for the heavier model as it will feel stiffer and more up to work in the sea.

received it today from devon angling centre today. took them long enough to deliver (2 weeks after payment) but I was not in a hurry. It look neat but I am affraid of its action in rough conditions. anyway, can know before I used it. I'll test it and put a review up in the tackle review section.

received a new tip and took it out for a few spins now. VERY pleased with it! only minus is the short strap on the tube. for it's price a very good rod!
