We was our last month with one of the local lads out of brighton, we were wrecking and whilst landing a pollock/cod it was taken by a shark, it launched thru the air whilst bracking the guys rod.

Ive fished fro sharks in florida but in this deep water i dont really know where to start, we out agin next week, and i want to put an extra rod out, can anyone offer any advice, on the end tackle rod & reels etc ok, but its the end bit im not sure on, i have a wire trace with 10'0s ready but how do i contect a ballon/bottle and whats the best bait etc?

Thanks
