is there any where I can get away from these winds?? Just tried rest bay wind and weed was a mare!!

This wind is a pain. It's a strong easterly today so around Barry.. Jacksons bay would be fishable, anywhere there is a headland, in a strong westerly Friars point will give shelter from the wind, Lavernock on the east side of the headland works too especially over high tide. Northerlies = happy days. Southerlies = nowhere to hide from the wind around barry/cardiff

That was the most unpleasant fishing trip I've ever had gents , wind was bearable until the heavens opened up and absolutely destroyed me, oh well plenty of bait left for the next session
