Just wondering if anyone has any experience of one of these boats, sea keeping qualities, use as a fishing boat etc. Thanks, john.

i had one which i converted to a fishing boat.

i took the big cabin off and put a forward wheelhouse on.

went well with a 90 yam fitted.

did 29 knots flat out with 2 people and all fishing gear onboard.

they do tend to roll a bit at anchor due to the narrow beam but other that that it was ok.

good freeboard.

oh yeah i also built the transom up to full height and fitted an outboard pod.

Hi Garry, thanks for that. Got a chance of one going cheap. Only has a 10hp on at the mo, but it is a good one , a 4 stroke Yamaha.
