bait was king rag, lug and whatever else we had.

so within 10 mins i was set up and in the water :p

so yeah i was up 3 wrasse within 15 mins :)
then i had a dry spell while i worked on my striking technique :g:

harry was soon in the fish with i think about 6 wrasse before i caught another

so after a while he went wanering over to a andom jetty came back with a tompot blenny? lol cant remember...
then while he was unhooking that i caught my self a normal blenny can some one identifie (its the only blenny picture)

then i landed my first ballan wrasse! :yeah:
bringing my species list to 5 (novice alert :uhuh: )

and i was happy
i left at 2:10 to catch the train.
but just before i left harry caught a tiny bass :)
harry stayed for a lot longer and pulled in the fish :p

well done guys looks like fun:thumbs:
If you want a flounder head to mudeford quay with some mackerel. Just drop it off the side and there are tons of small ones. Try a big fillet after dark for a large one. You just have to hope the crabs don't beat them to it!

Tim,

If you want flounder try the toll bridge river Adur early to mid November, North side, in the gulley east of the central island. No major cast required just a gentle lob just to the side of the bank. Believe me you can catch some nice ones there. Red rag and small orange beads on a simple running trace, peeler if you can get it, fishes best at night low tide up. A very warm coat is required :cold:

Glad to see you had some fun in the harbour, I might just be there in the morning, early doors for the bass and mullet. Yet again the weather means no boat comp fishing for me.
