Had a short sesh at Silloth on Saturday, with my boyo. Bit windy, but sheltered behind one of the groynes just North of lifeboat ramp. Caught a few flounders, then fished off the dock wall towards high water. Few small dabs, and a few missed bites there.

Rather than fish over high water, I decided to try Port Carlisle on way home, as I'd never fished it. We got there slightly late, as the tide was just starting to ebb, and we were soon trampling in the mud. Got a couple more flounders though, before there was a nasty rain shower, so we packed up.

Nothing spectacular, but a nice day out, and a few bites. The boy enjoyed it as well, and he caught the biggest flounder, about a pound (which he did rub in a bit!). Not many catch reports on here at the minute, so I thought I'd post something!
