A quick report...
Three of us left Levington at 05:00 and headed straight to the Towers. A little choppy but perfectly fishable. Bait was squid, but not the stuff you get from the tackle shops. Fished 'till 13:00 then headed in.
Caught 23 Skate up to 14lb - put them all back except 5, which we kept for the table.
Caught 1 Bass weighing in at 9lb - kept for the table.
All the other times we reeled in we had a dogfish - the bottom out there must be alive with them!
Bring on the 'hounds!
