My partner and I with another guest managed on the short break in the weather to sneak another day on the Skerries out of Dartmouth yesterday. Still a bit of easterly swell left, but other than a cold wind a nice day! Species were very much the same as last week, but a few less plaice and a lot more whiting, some of a decent filletable size. 8 species in total with the best a nice 1lb 12oz Red Gurnard and a low teen Blonde Ray, that put a good bend in my spinning rod!
