First advice is to take plenty of STRONG midge repellant!

Neist Point is a cracking mark and I wish we further south had similar! Take big Redgills and small pirks like Dexter Wedges. You should get big pollack no problem, plus the odd codling, ling etc. Feathers will produce mackerel but often you will get multiple coalies all 1/2-1lb. That's why it's best to use big lures.

Use a light beachcaster or bass rod and you'll have a loada fun, but watch out fo Mr Seal - last time I was there he bit a 6lb pollack in half! I threw the remainder back, which he appeared to enjoy no end!
