Has any one else seen what seem`s to be a small comercial fishing boat that works in the straits between porth penrhyn at bangor upto about gallows point at beaumaris it just seem`s to go up and down there all the time and i was wondering what they are fishing for (if anything) as i do a lot of deliviries around bangor and anglesey two to three days a week and it`s alway`s there with out fail on the high tide if they are fishing surely it must be putting a hell of a strain on the fish stocks in the area

Next time you are down near Beaumaris stop at Malcom's shop and ask him. He WILL know! Sounds like it might be someone shellfishing if he's up and down every day. I'd rather have that than someone with a small launch with a hundred yard of gill nets taking the Bass before they get into the Straits!

Mind you it might also be someone seining for sandeel for those seaanglers to use!!!
