It's kayak Monday . The weather is cooler , let's see if there is any fish left in the clyde . Today we start from Rhu point .

Here comes the cod , they are increasing in size every year .

And loads of wee one . Certainly encouraging for all .

Nicolas, great report as ever.
Plenty of smaller fish to keep you busy.
The pollack all look around the 1lb mark.
Your biggest fish of the day was your wrasse and I bet it gave you the best fight too.
The area your were catching the cod would be the rougher ground were I’d expect you to get amongst the species.
The cod of around 1lb to 1.5lb have been there for a while, I’d expect a few around 2.5 to 4lb plus the odd bigger one to see an improvement.
At the end of the day, you caught plenty and that’s whats it’s about, big well done.
