Hi, I am boating out of chichester harbour and am looking for some advice on some reliable marks for mackeral in the east/west solent and isle of wight. Have young kids so want to try and keep their attention span! Any advice much appreciated.

just drift from the two wreak bouys down to the dean tail bouy or the other way

No Mans Land fort is aways a safe bet, or around the Princessa shoal... usually stacked with them on the flood...

have a poke around langstone entrance channel
a few have been caught of the pier just inside the entrance
cousin had several earlier in the week

Langstone Harbour entrance was teeming with them this morning.
