Hi I was watching an underwater vidio of bream and carp feeding. The first hook lengths that were used were flrocarbon these spooked the fish when they touched the line as they could not see what they bumped into. Next lot of hook lengths were visable RED I think and because the fish could see them they swam and brushed against them and took the bait no problem. Makes you think!!!!!!!!!! Anyway going to do some experiments with diff coloured snoods on the same rigs to see what happens??????

Hi bugga
I have read recently that some sea fishers report more fish catches with red snoods. But personally I think that after about 30feet down or so, it won't make any difference as all colours go dark.Clear snoods are essential if you are targetting bass tho' those silver bars are very wary of anything that doesn't look right, whereas cod will eat any thing in front of them!!.
