As i had a day off work on friday i decided as it was flat as a pancake to paddle out of southbourne in search for plaice. Sadly i didn't catch a single plaice, but did manage 2 dab biggest 28cm and 27 tings. Baits were lug, rag and squid. The dabs were close in at about 4-500m. Tried fishing just under a mile off but the sea was empty out there. :doh:





Biggest dab...:uhuh: and hopefully the last of 2014.

yer maybe but i'll be just lure fishing from now on on the kayak. Bass are just starting to show so the bait gear is being put away lol.
