I have been looking for places to fish when I come down to Brixham and wondered about the beach/rocks near southdown.
is there parking and can you dive down the lane?

I haven't been down the lane at Southdown in years, but it was b***dy rough 20 years ago. The beach down there is Mansands. There is another lane down, which you get to on the road down to the lower ferry at Kingswear, but again it's pretty rough. A guy me and a mate fish with, has fished the headland at Mansands a bit in the past and done pretty well with a few bass, and huss at night.
