Next Tuesday coming down to Lulworth cove for a few days hols. Anyone got any info on spinning marks in the area. Was going to be fully tooled up but as I have a car full I have been advised (under threat of death) that I only take the minimum of gear.:yucky:

All help greatly appreciated.:)

Don't know about lulworth, although the coastline is awesome all along that particular stretch.
Worbarrow bay (as previously mentioned) is good sometimes. If spinning it is to be, I suggest that you fish the rocks to the left of the bay (left as in with your back to the land, just as you come down the slope).
Another good thing about the bay is that it is accessed via Tyneham village. You could leave the family there exploring while you get some fishing done.
Another reasonable spot (with family in mind) is West Bexington - good ground for fishing AND there is a cafe and public toilets.

The entrance to Poole harbour next to the road bridge can be good for spinning in the evenings for bass, pollack & scad. Most of the beaches in that area can fish for mullet very close in on the largest tides when the maggots are washed out of the weed. You need to be mobile, find the weed and find the fish.
Good luck

Swanage is often well populated with mullet. Try out near the pier.
Pre-baiting is always suggested for mullet if you can. Pasta is a good ground bait to use.

Is the Pasta cooked or uncooked?
