St brides
hi all fished st brides on a big tide ( sunday night ) came right to the top of the shore line defence, fished by old building left of the lighthouse, not a sniff, but did practise off the ground method.!
enjoyed the night but blanked...!!! really do need a better headlight..!!!

Cardiff foreshore Monday night
fished by the sewer outlet another big tide came right up the beach, had to climb on a boulder wall, really awkward to cast far,
had a right poor session, lost four rigs, and three shockleaders,
lost the first rig trying out pendulem casting, what a difference casting out a 6oz lead rather than 125grm over field...!!!
fished with my mate paul. fished from 6pm till 1.30am.....!!!!
not a single bite all night, except for the last 30minutes managed to get a nice codling about 2lb.............. returned safely

what is really annoy is lost 3 of the rigs due to being snagged up using a conoflex vampire 14.6ft and diawa 7ht, (( pulley rigs )) the problem i think is that the 7ht dosent have the retrieve ratio quick enough to get the lead off the snaggy ground...
anyway enjoyed the session and a stunning night, a few little drops rain....
pity about the company though ;)
but got to say st brides/ foreshore speaking to lots people its very quiet fishing at present
