Hi all i went for a dangle down St Brides last night not alot going on untill high water when i had a very good knock and slack line which turned out to be a 5lb codling

yer thats where i had my biggest codling this year too, 4 1/2lb, but that was 45 mins before high tide

I had the codling on lug and rag , there was nothing showing at range i had it close in about 50 yards or so , i had the same last week down Redwick if there was no lug on the hook the fish did not want to know .
