Fished the head again on Sunday, lovely day for it mainly caught wrasse on the float, although I pulled in one mackerel on a dexter wedge but that was it all day. Only a few doggies on the ledger and two enormous things that got away suspect conger or huss whatever it was it got through 150lb of mono!!!!

i fish st davids a lot in the summer months but tend only to fish around the rocks round the corner of porthclais. ground far too rough to fish bottom but excellent float for wrasse and for spinning nice sized pollack.tend to get small schoolies on redgills, good fun on light tackle.

St Justinians is directly west of St Davids opposite Ramsey Island. Lots of rocky marks in the area and a range of species including all the usual suspects, triggerfish and black bream. You can also sea sunfish and porpoises if you're lucky.
