had a lastminute.com down home for a bit of fishing and Im glad I did.

Bagged a starry of 9lbs 13oz. Didnt put up much of a fight until it surfaced about 20 feet out then all hell brook loose. It took of like a bat out of hell. Thought I had lost it at one point as the line went over the rocks. Managed to scramble down to the waters edge and get it out.


PS The fish was caught during the week and not today

The smuts seem to be caught in lesser numbers from the shore now but the fish are getting bigger, will we see a double before the end of the summer?
