My 3yr old daughter keeps asking me to take her fishing :clap2: :clap2: it's a proud day for any father.

Can you help me with a mark that will give her fish lots of fish, as old rex hunt says start them young and keep them busy.

My worry is she will get bored quick and will wonder so that rules out the piers was thinking of Knabb Rock or Rossile.

What do you think????:g:

My son is 9 and has autism his attention span is about five minutes so I took him to the west pier and fished straight down the river side we caught loads of small whiting and very quickly so we ended up staying for about two hours not big fish but enough to keep him occupied and hooked for life

Take her to Mumbles Pier, off the end, use rag or mackeral baited shrimp(small feather) rigs you'll catch as many wrasse/pollack/smelt as you want.My son and I went down a couple of weeks ago,for about 50 fish, didn't go more than 5 minutes without a bite on the shrimp rigs fished straight down the side.

What i found best was when i took my 3 children(a boy of 8, 1 girl of 6 and 1 of 4) was to go somewhere like Weymouth harbour or Brixham, simple because it seems safe as there is no deep drop like a pier but steps down to the waters edge, easy to keep an eye on, give them all a crab line and a bucket, we soon had plenty of crabs which kept them there for hours, loved it.
The next step was some cheap spinning kits you see for a £10er, set up, cast out, hook the fish and let them reel in, to see there faces when they see a little Wrasse on the end is great.
As long as the fish, crabs etc are there they wont get bored,
all the best and good luck:clap3:

What can I say thaks to you all think mumbles may be a winner. If all goes well I might have an very good reason for father dauhter bonding to get line wet more often.
