My father is 70 yrs old and still likes to wet a line. Problem is he's not very agile and I need to take him somewhere I can park the car close by, not have to clamber over rocks etc. Any suggestions?

Thats excellent!! Glad to hear he still enjoys the fishing

as for easy accessible marks try cardiff Barrage (theres even benches to sit onand only a small walk to fish)

Porthcawl wall/promenade or pier more or less fish from the car on the wall

Penarth pier nice easy fishing and parking close by

welcome to WSF by the way

Cheers lads, going down to the Barrage today to check it out before taking him. What's the best height tide to fish there?

Good to hear it,

Not the best fishing around but you could try barry docks?

no wind, nice and close, benches - virtually fish from the car.

Good luck
