I have been fishing rough ground with braid for 3 yrs now and never had any problems using 20lb fireline dyneema, ive now got 300yrds of 50lb power pro spectra and cannot stop my braid from snapping from the shockleader no matter which knot i use , and how careful i am doing the knots any ideas ,

First I've got to say..how do you get away with using 20lb for Rock fishing
gotta presume that your not easing big eels then?but could be wrong

What I have found with Power pro is that I also can break Knots up to 60lb but not including 60lb so I dont go lighter than 60lb now.

Sometimes I think that it can depend on your leader material, so maybe try different leaders, I have!
I could show you the knot I use but don't know how to..lol

:yucky:All braids are weakened by poor knots, use a grinner or similar, it works for me.:uhuh:
