my little mercury 4.5 was stolen on tues.morning.its the blue band model and the choke lever is missing plus it has a piece orange fuelline fitted just infront of the carb.if you guys could keep an ear to the ground i would greatly appreciate it,i am appealing to the boating community because we all know how this might feel should it happen to us

out of interest... why would you leave them on a boat un attended?

my boat is right beside my house and the only thing in it is a battery

it was actually my dad and sister who left them there, i haven't been out much, what with young kids. its not so bad as we have loads of gear at home too. the boat itself is in a small harbour really out of the way and completely fenced/barbed-wired off. in fact most people wouldn't be aware of it's existence never mind that it is in use these days. the thieves actually entered the harbour by boat themselves. to me this is actually worse as in my eyes they should respect other boat owners, but i guess w***ers are universal
