Has anyone foshed the stone circle by the menai bridge? decoded to go over tomorrow and fancy this mark at low water before fishing a comp over there.

Any advice on how to fish this mark would be much appreciated

thanx in advance

Just to update, fished the stone circle on sunday and did not really do much had a few doggies and a couple of massive bites. Saw some rather large bass jumping in the middle as well as 4 divers.

Fished a comp with the menai s.a.c club on the breakwater in the evening and had a great victory with a 8lb 9oz conger on a single sandeel.

cheers for the info

:)

For another occasion, try the other side of the bridge. Little bay with rock about central at low tide. Don't cast distance as masses of mooring ropes. Bass, pollack, Wrasse. Crab/Rag best. Try a float medium distance.

We always rekoned that JUMPING FISH were actually salmon and that Bass simply ROLLED when after shoals of whitebait/sandeels. Surprised you did not get Mackies as they are supposed to be in the Swellies this year.

I've not fished anywhere for nearly 6 weeks but hope to get back to Wales soon. Good result by the way!!!
