Fished the stone jetty Aberystwyth this morning to scratch out some more species. Managed a tompot, loads of shannies, a ballan, pollack, and one corkwing. All came on maddies. I was expecting loads of corkies as the jetty usually has plenty amongst the boulders, but only managed to find one and that was at range on some of the outer rough patches.

Has anyone else had any corkies there this year or have they been hit hard by the cold winter?

I'll be back there next week to see what's about in the dark!
