I still had some bait left and it was a shame to waste it but the winds were strong and finding shelter was hard. I ended up half way between Porthwen and Bull Bay in a small cove out of the wind. It was still cold and sea conditins were quite rough but I managed to bag 4 wrasse and a pollack. I love the new tackle and it handled the fish no problem and the rod and reel cast well reaching about 150-160yards. The rod is a Team Daiwa 13ft fixed spool rod and in the end I decided on the Mitchell compact Gold 8000 with a taperd spool, many thanks for reading.

Should have gone myself Sat night then saw the forecast, wind gusting to 41mph. Gutted but it didn't seem wise to take a chance on a 170 mile round trip. Anyway the ale went down well followed by a chinese, happy days.:yeah:
