With all the talk of Plaice about I thought I would have a few hours in pursuit of them as I have not caught one yet.I wanted to fish the murco end but had heard they are still putting the shingle back so I went to Fishermans beach got there about 8.15 a few people already fishing.I set up two rods a two hook flapper for in close and a clipped wishbone rig as far as I could fling it bait was lug and squid, fished up and over high and down the weather was lovely bright and sunny sea flat calm as were my rod tips they never moved try as I might I could not get a bite never saw any of the other anglers there catch either funny back in St Marys Bay it stayed foggy all day never mind one nil to the Plaice lol.
