Hi Guys,
How far inshore before I need a coarse licence? looking for fishing for some flatties!
I remember, when I was A nipper, my old man taking me to Sutton Bridge I remember a wooden pier but that is about all!! I am hoping that you can still fish around there or someone can tell me a good place to go!

Cheers,

TIA

the little jetty is still there on the west bank near the lighthouse but at the moment i would try up tide of the bridge less crabs higher up river and you don't need a rod licence as the demarcation point of the tidal nene is guyhurn road bridge about 5 miles upstream of wisbech

we fished a small open in sutton bridge on sunday afternoon about 20 anglers and about half a dozen sole were weighed in plus plenty of eels and flounders and a couple of bass, seems to be fishing fairly well in there at the moment there's been a sole or 2 in each of the holbeach club matches in there as well, bait lug rag maddies and peeler
