My son me and two other friends Tim and Brian fished Swansea Bay yesterday. They started in front of County Hall and I went to observatory. Plan was to dig 20-25 lug worms and start fishing later. For first 10 minutes no luck with lug. Frustrated and thought about buying few but didn't give up and thought about using some different tactics. So started finding some obvious holes and went made sure where is the worm lying exactly and soon started getting them. One in every two cast consistently, finding holes was more difficult than digging though. :1a:
Weather was great so started casting. Bang bang on first cast and reeled in a medium sized flounder:happy:. Met another WSF forum mate Grillfish(if I am not wrong) there, he was walking with his dog, nice to talk to you mate, reeled in a schoolie small though so back she went. My son was still blanked and a bit jealous but soon beaten it with a rocklin. Met another forum mate Jonsey with his little daughter. I thing all the nature lovers were out!
Decided to go to county hall to join the other mates just before high water. My son started there with a flattie there. Tim had a schoolie and a flattie, Brian missed the bites( wasn't his night), While i was packing up my friend tim had a cracking craching bite and after a good fight reeled in a nice 2 1/2 lb Bass, fish of the night. Well done my friend. Tight lines. Khan:fishing1::fishing1::fishing1:
