Went down sun morn, catching macky on the end and a couple more further down , didn' see anything else being caught.
I was totally Disgusted at the state of the place, all paper wrapping 99.9% left by ANGLERS that they brought they're bait in, old tackle wrappers and line by the mile.
Next thing you'll see NO FISHING by ORDER OF ????? and you can't blame them.
Your stopping your own sport, if you take the trouble to carry all the RUBBISH down there then TAKE IT BACK WITH YOU It's lighter now you've used your bait anyway.
Sorry for that just had to get it off my chest.
Oh forgot to say me and the daughter blanked

i totally agree
There seems to be a lot of marks, especially the easily accessable marks that do suffer from the rubbish. its stopped me going to the west pier because of this. i feel embarrased to be an angler :(

I fish with someone on a regular basis, and, between the two of us we do our best to pick up all our rubbish and some other peoples as well. There are bins in the car park there are bins on the way back. There is no excuse for being lazy!
