Er depends on what sort of fishing their where doing off the rocks might of been spinning with lures for bass or maybe bait fishing with worm 'n' stuff ???

What sort of fishing do ya wanna do ???

oh btw welcome to the forums :victory:

IF ya wanna go beach/pier fishing ya want a 12' or 13' rod some sort of reel ya get on with fixed spool or multiplyer to match ya rod etc plus ready made rigs if ya lazy mofo or all the bits ya need to make ya own, much cheaper if ya D.I.Y ya own rigs, might wanna learn some knots etc.

Ya can pick up a cheap combos from around £40 to £80 to test the water with and improve from their if like the sport...
