There’s anew tackle shop opened up in Caister On Sea think it’s called Brandford tackle they do all sorts of bait there and the guys seems friendly enough just thought I’d put it out there

Hoping to fish Aldeburgh beach in the coming weeks, bit of a drive from Yorkshire, can anyone tell me the nearest bait shop when coming in from the north.

Bought 50 lug from Markham's in Ipswich for an eyewatering £12 - on account they were 'very nice'.

What a load of rubbish - there was about 5 or 6 'very nice' ones, the rest were utterly average and about 10 were no longer than my little finger.

And there was only 48

Going back to digging my own.

That's very poor for a shop. There has plenty of quality lug available this year so there's no excuse. Lug was once hit hard because of the demand for cod bait but the last few years the beds have been very healthy.
