Just back from a spin session on the Tay near the road bridge on the Fife side. Water very clear and I fished the ebb from 4-6pm without a single strike. Saw 1 sea trout jump and that was it. I suspect that with a 5.7m tide and plenty of freshwater coming down the river, the sea trout would have been running rather than hanging around in the esturay. Anyway thats me started again after a few months off and I can only hope it gets better.

ps sorry I missed the Wormit meet, but I had to rush to england as my father was very sick. Shame really as I could have walked to the venue!!
