just been to the supermarket pick up some mussels only thing is they are pre-pack and soak in garlic / got some king prawn raw,and seen crab sticks 68p so give them a shot .As the man said last night tea bags so got some cheap ones . attached them to a 3/o hook then into the tea bag {empty the tea out first } then elastic them around the hook made ten of each , come on saturday cant wait .:wiggle:

What Saturday?? The first of April?? Please let us know how you get on...the mussels in garlic could be a winner!!:sun:

See, I've always thought to myself that there must be something out there that you can squeeze a load of bait into to chuck out in one go. I was thinking of some kind of bag that you could pull tight and wrap around the hook. A tea bag is perfect isn't it? Yeah it's not very pretty and it's not going to make the purists very happy but it's a bloody good idea I think.

I'm gonna give this a whirl. It could, quite literally, bring a whole new meaning to the term 'cocktail'. You could put almost anything in there couldn't you? You could put the tea bag inside a squid so it stays in there easier but still leaks scent everywhere.


I'm a little excited about this you know. Not enough to get myself into any trouble :rtfm:, but excited nonetheless.....
