[Bass Dad]

Out yesterday on my own for a couple of hours and had 10 well conditioned bass to 4lb:fishing: ,lovely little sesh as i hadn't been out in a while, well a week anyway.
While trying to catch number 10 a guide from Blighty whose in the media a bit at the mo' turned up with aparty of 5 also from over the water . Now apart from shouting and screaming when they caught a fish (ssshhhh!!) and going either side of me which blocked my freedom of movement ,in fairness there wasn't anywhere else they could go, they didn't do a lot else wrong and returned their fish after a couple of photos , nice one lads.
None of us has any given rights to any marks but sometimes its a right downer:sad: when you get your tranquility broken and in this case i ****ed off home.

Mikey a buddy of mine went Bassing on monday which is rare enough for him as he's mad about the salmon .He had his 15th salmon of the season and first one ever on the fly on saturday a nice fish of 11lb , well done that man.
Anyways for whatever reason he decides to go for some proper fishing and chooses a bassy looking headland/point and sticks on a Kilty lure (metal spinner ,this one was silver and gold) . What does he go and catch ?? His 16th of the season at 8lb !! unheard of in the area !... he's still trying to catch a bass:g:

Nice sesh there, I know what you mean about marks, still a least they all live a long way away so you should be OK the next time you go there.

I think your mate should stick to the Salmon fishing, sounds like he's pretty good at it.:fishing:

I'm happy for guys to come over and enjoy the great fishing over here, especially the c+r anglers. I suppose it was just the noise that got to me , didn't help the fishing either !! Just realised I like a bit of peace and quiet when i'm dangling , must be getting old !
