A thread on the Scotland forum has inspired me to do this (yes again). The great species hunt!

Get your lists out ladies and gentleman! We are a UK and Ireland board so lets keep it to UK and Irish waters but what's your species count for the year?

It's always great to compare notes on how the year is going so far...

I'll dig mine out later on...but if anybody would like to start...carry on :D

Haven't fished much this year, but the tally so far is:

Whiting
Dogfish
Flounder
Plaice
Dab
Bass
Mackerel
Garfish
Golden Grey Mullet
Gurnard
Pollack
Wrasse
Codling - 1, and I froze my nuts off for days trying to catch one, and it was weeny.

As far as dodgy women go, I think you've been spending too much time fishing near the docks, Phil. :D
