I ventured down to the Knap Barry yesterday, I had a job getting a parking space but found one down the fat end.
I was armed with Squid, Macky, Sandeep and frozen black Lugworm
I had plenty of storming bites but could hook nothing, I tried all kinds of rigs but to no avail.
The only fish I saw was when I stopped in the chippy for supper, not all bad then

Well done on giving it a go Chris. Its very up and down there at the moment. It will change dramatically once we get a bit of warm weather. Even the woofs are quieter than normal.
Did you get your fish and chips from the shop on the hill coming up from the Knap ?

Yes mate, lovely Cod and chips there and they give you stacks of chips.

I totally agree mate, the fishing is better on the sand too a little further west.

Yep, gut buster but also very tasty food.
