Daughter was 14 on Friday, so we planned a species hunt at Port Logan yesterday. Glorious weather, counted 28 boats out, and a pint in the pub afterwards - what more could I ask for? Except that she beat me 11-10!

We managed mackerel, LSD, Cod, Whiting, Pollack, Haddock, Dab, Grey Gurnard, Red Gurnard, Ballan Wrasse and Cuckoo Wrasse.

Apart from a wee while on the leadheads, biggest hook we used all day was a size 4.

Gordon, how can you send your wean fishing with those sun glasses BTW. Even Bono circa Zooropa/Dame Edna wouldnt be seen dead in those.

I will update her species list and have a rumage about for some of Lynne's old shades as thats just not fair at all......:)
