Down in Heysham today (not fishing unfortunately) but had a quick look at Thropshire Point. A few folks fishing but only saw a few small flatties caught. Kept amused by one group who seemed to have forgotten that the tide comes in!!

I only hope they caught something to make it worthwhile!!:clap: :clap: :clap:

you know that bunch don't know how lucky they where ???
if the weather had changed and it turned rough god knows.
i know coz last year in august a storm caught me out and batterd the [email protected]@T out of me iwas lucky i slipped on the rocks and only broke my lamp and two rod tips when i slipped but it took that much out of me i was nearly to exhausted to make it........but i did but it was scary....and it was only a tide under 8 meters.

i,ve heard of extreme sports steve, but thats taking flounder treading to the max.
its a good job there was,nt a fast ferry leaving heysham at the time.
