This cast sound exciting - perhaps too exciting if you are anywhere near the caster !

Has anyone got any video of the Holderness Coast's premier (and probably only) exponent of this cast in action ?

I realise you shouldn't film him without his permission and perhaps he may not wish to permit you . . . . . . . . so it's a "long shot" that there could be video of him in "athletic" (I'm guessing, here) action.

I've seen someone do this cast - scarey is an understatement, although I suppose it is no more hazardous than the full pendulum if there is a line-break!

If involves swinging the lead round and round the rod with a sudden reversal it's been around for years and years. See my post under sleeper cast. Maybe this is the continental cast I'm referring too.

sounds a lot more dangerous that a correctly executed full pendulum cast as the power shouldnt be applied until late when if you crack off the lead will be heading out to sea.

badly executed pendulums are a different matter!!!!!
