Ok so fingers crossed, if I can get the car, some ragworm and weather is ok then I am planning on taking the lad out for a bit of a night fish (high tide is about 9:40 at bognor if my app is right)
I was thinking of taking him to bognor, by the beach huts, but all he wants to catch is his first dogfish. I think he will be happy But I would like for him to get his first doggie.
Does anyone have advice about where to go around the Chichester area, rigs or bait please?
Any help would be great.
Thanks for looking and tight lines everyone.

hello mate, the beach huts are throwing up bits and bobs, slugs whiting and pouting atm,Pagham or Aldwick might be a better option for dogfish especially if the water doesn`t clear, best rig would be a two hook flapper with 2/0 carrying worm bait,no need to cast far for them as believe me they`ll find you.If he hasn`t caught a dogfish before best give him a bit of advice on handling them as they tend to curl up,often around your arm and could graze with their sandpaper skin, best of luck......Alan

Go down Cardinals drive into Kings drive turn right,up to the next roundabout, straight across into Viscount drive and to the end, safe to park after six pm/or turn right at the same roundabout and drive along the Causeway turning left into Channel view/Conway drive follow the road round left, park at the end (cul-de-sac)and follow the alley through, you will see the pipe to the left same parking restrictions apply/or follow the Causeway through to the Parade, past the shops and car sales turning left and into Beach road that will take you through to the yacht club, hope this helps cause i`m knackered (lol)......Alan
