The flounder you caught was an unusual catch Greg. Over the past decade there have been reports coming in of strange flounders caught from the Blyth area. They have the same colour on both sides and sometimes they even have eyes on their undersides, hard to believe:g: I know and honestly this is not another April fool wind up by Greg.
I am sure the scientists of the Dove marine laboratory in Cullercoats were really interested in getting a hold of some of these unusual fish to try and establish a cause to this freak of nature.
Your double sided flounder catch was the first I have heard of in a couple of years. Did you notice if it had eyes on both sides to?
