We fished Thorntonloch beach from about 11pm until 3am on Saturday night. I had a few bites and managed to land 2 sizeable Coalfish and one undersize Pollack. Al sadly blanked. The Coalies were both caught on Squid whilst the Pollack
went for a Frozen Black Lug/Squid Cocktail.

It went quiet after High Tide so we had plenty of Bait to use up at Cockenzie at lunchtime the following day. Things were pretty slow there with Al managing two small Pollack on Rag/Squid and me blanking.

One bloke got a couple of Bass (one sizeable) on floated Ragworm, although nobody else seemed to catch anything. Both trips were very enjoyable with nice weather, but not so many fish!
