Given the recent weather forecasts, @Bill Stone and I decided that a Sunday morning session 2 hours either side of LW was the best chance of a fishing session this week. A quite fresh south westerly was blowing so we choose Thorpeness where the wind would be off the land we could tuck in behind the shingle. Bill set up with a mix of flattie rigs for a dab and a bomber rig with fresh lug and squid baits hoping for a unicorn. I went just with short snood flappers with frozen black lug on size 4's in hope of a dab. Unfortunately no dabs or codling were to be had, only about 40 under sized tings with only one keeper amongst them. Bill had a bit of excitement when one of his rods was taken clean off the rest, the culprit being a seal which surfaced very close to shore and his bad luck continued with losing a couple of rigs on a snag, That's probably it for a couple of weeks due to other commitments unless temped out by reports of some better catches
