just read the report from south walney where there was a good few bass caught i'm not sure of the exact tide height for last night but it must have been only just above 7 metres or so. is walney front fishable at any tide height? as i had it in my head that it had to be over 8 metres at least. or does it depend where on walney you fish. cheers

yes depends where your fishing you can catch down the southend on any size tide as long as there is an onshore wind but your right about needing a tide over 8.0m if you want fish the scars. i wouldnt go unless its 8.5 or over hope this helps
