Casting is on, may have to park just inside the field depending on the overnight rain. Need to bring a brolly as some showers are forecast during the day.
Wind looks good
John is going to phone me in the morning at 08.00 so if you want an update on the field conditions the you can phone me on 01227 372517 between 08.00 and 09.00 John has asked that no large vans be taken onto the field

I have recently started fishing and use multiplier, I would love to have some tuition in casting and have a cast measured. I live 20 min from tilmanstone, would I be welcome?

just spoken to john who is at the field , please be careful as you enter the field if you go to the right you shouldn't have any problems

Casting again at Tilmanstone this coming Sunday 23rd feb, weather looks ok, got some wind as well! If you've never been before bring bring your tackle (fishing)
along and have an enjoyable day and improve your casting in the process!

Kent Sportcast (Tilmanstone ) Results 9th February – 2014

Conditions - Wind SW/WSW Wind Variable 25mph plus. Weather. Dry - 11 Casters.
Old records tumble due to ideal casting conditions today with the wind more or less down the court all day. Well done to Jason on having the furthest cast (approx 294yds in old money) ever cast at Tilmanstone. Also well done to Duane on casting over 1000 metres using four different leads and creating four new backcast records. Also well done to Darren with two PBs.

A video of some of the days casting will be on the club website Kent Sportcast later in the week.

Our next event will be on Sunday 23rd February.
